The students in my classroom are at different levels of mathematical abilities, does Matific support this type of classroom?
Of course! You can either assign activities for an individual student by clicking on the ‘Activities’ tab and using the ‘Class:’ drop-down menu to select the class and the ‘Students:’ drop-down menu to select the student.
Once the student has been selected click on ‘ASSIGN’ next to the activity you wish to assign to them.
Or you can group students of varying abilities together. to do this, click on the ‘Class Management’ tab.
Click on the ‘Manage My Students’ section.
Select the class that you would like to divide into groups from the drop-down menu and click ‘Manage Groups’.
FIll out the pop-up form: Give your new group a name and then tick the checkboxes next to the students who you wish to add to the group.
Once your group is added you can assign activities to them. to do this, click on the ‘Activities’ tab.
Select the ‘Class:’ from the drop-down menu. Select the group from the ‘Whole Class:’ drop-down menu.
Once you have selected the group you can click on ‘ASSIGN’ to allocate activities to them.
