A Matific admin has access to the classes and reports of every student from your school. In the interest of privacy, we do not recommend that your school has more than three admins. However, there is no limit to how many admins your school can have.
Additionally, administrator access also includes the ability to manage teachers, which is a critical function for overseeing educational activities.
Eligibility Criteria for Administrator Access
Administrator access is typically granted to individuals in specific roles within a school or municipality. Eligible roles include:
Coordinators
Principals/Directors
Municipal Technicians
Municipal Trainers These roles are considered eligible due to their responsibilities and oversight within the educational structure.
You can set multiple admins by changing the access level of added teachers to admin.
How to Request Administrator Access
For Teachers Requesting School Administrator Access:
Obtain explicit approval from the current school administrator.
You can either:
Add the school administrator to an email thread to approve your request, or
Ask the school administrator to contact Matific directly with the approval.
For Municipal Coordinators or Pedagogical Assistants:
Submit a request using the designated form for municipal/admin access.
Ensure the form includes all required details about the municipality and schools.
The responsible municipal trainer or technician will review and process the request.
Click the three dots next to the teacher whom you wish to make an admin > Edit Teacher Details.
Change the access level to admin > Click Save.
Municipal-Level Access Changes
If there is no existing admin available to grant access, or for changes to existing administrator profiles, direct your request to the Municipal Trainer or Municipal Technician responsible for the municipality. They will review and, if appropriate, adjust or release the access.
