The Student Activity Report gives you a detailed view of how your students are performing with their completed activities. It helps you quickly identify strengths and areas that might need more support. You can view this report for both Mathematics and Financial Literacy activities if they are enabled in your curriculum.

Why Use It

This report helps you:

  • See which topics your class or individual students are strong in
  • Identify areas where they may need more practice
  • Filter results for specific subjects, year levels, types of work, and dates
  • Compare performance across topics and activities

💡 This report works for Financial Literacy activities too, allowing you to track how students are progressing through Financial Literacy units as well as Mathematics topics.

How to View the Student Activity Report

  1. In the side navigation bar, click Reports and click Student Activity Report.
  2. Select your class from the class selector. 
    💡You can also select a single student to view their detailed performance.

Navigating the Student Activity Report

You can explore the report by filtering results, selecting topics, or drilling down into student performance.

Using Filters

Filters allow you to narrow down the report to show only the data you need.

You can filter by:

Curriculum

Choose whether to view Matific Topics or the curriculum you teach.

Year Level(s)

Filter results based on the grade level of the activities.

Type of Work

Filter by the type of activity students completed (such as schoolwork, homework, adventure island, training zone).

Date Range

View activity results completed within a specific time period.

Selecting a Student

You can select a specific student from the student dropdown to see their individual performance.

This allows you to analyze how a student is progressing across different topics and activities.

Selecting a Topic

Click on a topic to drill down into:

  • Sub-topics
  • Individual activities
  • Student performance within that topic

Understanding the Report

The information displayed in the report changes depending on whether you are viewing class results or an individual student.

Class View

When viewing the entire class, the report displays performance data across topics so you can quickly identify patterns in learning.

Use this view to:

  • Identify topics where many students are struggling
  • Compare performance across topics
  • Spot opportunities for targeted practice or review

You can also toggle Show empty topics to hide or display topics without activity data.

Individual Student View

When you select a specific student, you will see detailed activity information under two tabs:

Score Breakdown
Shows how the student performed across different topics and sub-topics.

Activities Completed
Displays a list of activities the student has completed, including completion dates.

Need a Quick Summary of the Report?

The Generate Class Summary button provides an AI-powered overview of your class’s performance.

Instead of reviewing individual scores and activity data manually, this feature analyzes the report and produces a clear, easy-to-read summary of how your class is performing.

This helps you quickly understand key insights such as:

  • Overall class performance on recent activities
  • Areas students have mastered
  • Areas where students may need additional support
  • Students who may benefit from extra challenges or targeted practice

How to Generate a Class Summary

  1. Click Reports > Student Activity Report.
  2. Click Generate Class Summary at the top right side of the screen.

💡Use the generated summary to quickly plan your next lesson, identify students who may need additional support, or assign follow-up activities to reinforce learning.

Export the Report

You can download the full report as an Excel spreadsheet by clicking the Export button in the top-right corner of the page.

Tips for Deeper Interpretation

  • Look for areas where many students have lower scores — this can help guide your next lesson or identify where additional support may be needed.
  • Use the year level filter to compare topics across grades.
  • When reviewing Financial Literacy topics, the same insights apply — you’ll see which concepts students are mastering or struggling with.
