Getting Started for Administrators
If the school or organization network has restricted access to only recognized URLs, this article lists all the necessary domains which must be whitelisted in the firewall and security settings.
Once the required URLs have been whitelisted, check the AllowList Domain Access section in the System Requirements Checker to validate if the domains are accessible.
Matific Whitelist Requirements
To ensure full access is granted to all features and content of Matific, the school or organization must allow traffic in and out from the following domains and IP addresses.
| If a third-party URL filtering service is used by the school network, it is mandatory to configure this whitelist to ensure uninterrupted access to activities, teacher reports, updates and customer support tools. |
Domains to Whitelist
Wild card entries (*) may be used if it is supported by the firewall or URL filtering system.
Ensure the following domains have been added to whitelist and are not blocked by firewalls, content filters or proxies:

Email Whitelist
To ensure activation emails, support updates and classroom invitations are received from Matific, the IT administrator of the school or organization must add the following email domains as trusted senders:

| Every Matific domain and subdomain is mandatory for the platform to work. Not configuring these URLs may result in the core learning, reporting or authentication features to not work as expected. |

Mandatory Third Party Service URLs
The Following Third Party Services must be whitelisted for Matific functionalities to work as expected.

Optional Third Party Service URLs
The following third party URLs are optional to be configured:

Purpose: Used by Unity’s analytics and data tracking services to collect user interaction data from activities. Impact if blocked: Gameplay is unaffected. However, no analytics will be collected and Matific loses analytics and crash reporting data, which is essential for detecting and fixing bugs quickly. |

Purpose: Used to load Captcha challenges and provide bot protection. Impact if blocked: May affect login/account security checks. |
| Fonts & Design Assets | |

Purpose: Used to load typography, fonts and styles. Impact if blocked: Matific still works. However, default fonts will be used. This may affect the look and feel of text, icons, or layout elements might not appear correctly. |

| Zendesk (Support & Helpdesk) | |

Purpose: Used to load customer support portal, helpdesk widget, FAQs. Impact if blocked: Teachers or students will be unable to access Matific’s helpdesk. |

| Usersnap (Feedback Tool) | |

Purpose: Provides in-app feedback collection. Impact if blocked: No user feedback will be captured, but Matific will still work as normal. |

Purpose: Provides error tracking for Development teams. Impact if blocked: No error reports will be collected and may cause delays for support teams to diagnose issues that schools encounter, however there is no effect on classroom use. |
