Adding your first class is the starting point to personalised learning, real-time insights, and smooth classroom management in Matific. Once your class is set up, you can add students, track progress, and start assigning activities right away.
❗ Your school can restrict you from creating classes. In this case, contact your Matific School Admin for help.
Step 1: Create a Class
- Click Class Management in the side navigation bar.
- Click +Add Class on the top left corner.

Select one of the following options:
- Create a Class

Click Create a Class and enter:
- Class Name
- Year Level
- Subjects (for example, Mathematics and/or Financial Literacy)
Step 2: Add Students to Your Class
After creating a class, you can add students straight away or come back to this later.
To add students manually:
- Select your created class from the side navigation.
- Click Add Students.

Enter student names
💡Usernames will be automatically generated and Students can change them later. -
Save your changes.
Each student will be given login credentials they can use to access Matific.
Step 3: Download student login cards
Once students are added, you can quickly generate login details to share with them.
- Open Class Management.
- Select your class.

Click Print Login Cards in the top right corner.
These cards include each student’s username, password, and a QR code for a quick login.

Other Ways to Add Classes
In addition to creating a class manually, Matific supports several other class setup options:
- Import from Google Classroom – Automatically create classes and sync students
- Upload via Spreadsheet – Add multiple students in bulk
- Single sign-on (SSO) setups – Available for supported platforms

These options are all managed from Class Management once your class is set up.
