You can delete a class in Matific if it's no longer needed.

❗Deleting a class removes it permanently from your school.

Before you begin

• You cannot delete a class that still has students in it.

• If students are assigned to the class, you must either move them to another class or delete their accounts first.

• Your school may restrict who can delete classes. If you don’t see the Delete option, contact your school’s Matific Admin.

How to delete a class

❗Deleting a class removes it permanently, and cannot be restored.

1. In the side navigation bar, click Class Management.

2. Find the class you want to delete.

3. If there are students in the class:

Move students to another class

or

Delete student accounts (deleted student accounts cannot be recovered).

4. Once the class has no students, click the three-dot menu (...) and click Delete Class.

5. Confirm the deletion and the class will be removed permanently.
