If you no longer need a class in Matific, you can delete it — but only when the class is empty (no students are assigned to it). 

❗Deleting a class removes it permanently from your account.

Before you begin

• You cannot delete a class that still has students in it.

• If students are assigned to the class, you must either move them to another class or delete their accounts first.

• Your school may restrict who can delete classes. If you don’t see the Delete option, contact your school’s Matific Admin.

How to delete a class

❗Deleting a class removes it permanently, you cannot restore it.

1. In the side navigation bar, go to Class Management.

2. Find the class you want to delete.

3. If there are students in the class:

Move students to another class

or

Delete student accounts (so the class becomes empty).

4. Once the class has no students, click the three-dot menu (...) and click Delete Class.

5. Confirm the deletion and the class will be removed permanently.
