Save time by bringing your students and class roster over from Google Classroom into Matific, no manual entry needed!
If your school uses Google Classroom, you can import your class directly into Matific. This means:
- No typing student names one by one.
- Accurate class lists.
- Faster start to teaching with Matific.
Before You Start
📌 To import a class:
- You need to be signed in to both Google Classroom and Matific with the same account.
- Your Google Classroom class must already have students added.
- Matific will import the class name and student info; you can edit it later in Matific if needed.
Step-by-Step: Import a Google Classroom Class
- Click ‘Class Management’ in the left-side navigation bar.
- Click ‘Add Class’.
- Click ‘Import from Google Classroom’.
- Select or add your google account from the Sign in with Google page and click ‘Continue’.
💡To prevent syncing issues, use the same Google account your school and classroom use.
- Click ‘Allow’ to let Matific access your google classroom data.
- The classes should now be synced with Matific, Select your class to import and set their year levels.
- Click ‘Import Class’ to finish setting up your class.
❗Syncing your Google class may take upto 10 minutes.
After Importing
- Your imported class appears in Class Management.
- You can edit Class Name, Student Names, and Learning Levels just like a normal class.
- Imported students can now log in and start activities.

- Ensure all students are added successfully
- Review learning levels if needed
- Start assigning activities and tracking progress
