Getting students into Matific is quick and easy! Here’s how your students can log in!
Before You Start
Make sure your students have received their login credentials. To share student credentials easily follow this guide: Provide My Class Their Login Details.
Login With Students Username and Password
This is the most common login method.
Step 1: Navigate to the Matific login page.
Step 2: Enter the username and password.
💡Encourage students select ‘Remember me’ to stay logged in for upto 30 days.
Step 3: Click ‘Log In’.
💡You can also quickly log in by scanning the QR code in the student login card.
Login With Google
If your school uses Google accounts:
Step 1: Click the ‘Log in’ button in the Matific homepage.
Step 2: Click ‘Log in with Google’.
Step 3: Select the Google account linked with Matific.
Once logged in, students will land straight into Matific, ready to start learning.
Log In with Single Sign-On (SSO)
Some schools use Single Sign-On (SSO) to make logging in even easier.
If your school has SSO enabled, students can log in using their school platform without needing a Matific username or password.
Supported SSO providers include:
- Clever
- Flight (Heinemann)
💡 If you’re unsure which login method your school uses, contact your school’s IT administrator for more details.
Logging In on Different Devices
Students can access Matific on both web browsers and mobile or tablet devices.
Using a Web Browser
Students can log in through any supported browser (such as Safari, Google Chrome, FireFox) by visiting the Matific website.
Using the Matific App
Students can also log in using the Matific app on tablets or mobile devices.
- If the app is already installed on their device, open it and log in as usual.

Troubleshooting

Forgotten username/password?
Teachers can reset student passwords in the Class Management tab.

Login errors?
Make sure the student is using the correct credentials. The password is case sensitive.
